I really like this aromatherapy balm set. I like that there are 6 different scents that I can use for various purposes. The included bag keeps everything together, so I don’t have to worry about any of them getting lost, as well. I think these would make a great gift for anyone who is interested in aromatherapy.
This balm easily slides on the wrist or wherever you’d like to place it. It’s slightly more smooth than chapstick and goes on very light and non-greasy. The smell is fresh and light, it’s not overpowering at all. This has helped my son relax while laying in bed at night and the scent stays for a good 30 minutes before wearing out. I love that the scent does not leave any traces behind on his sheets or blankets.
Usually for my aromatherapy I have always used oils in a diffuser, so I thought this my be an interesting new way to try things out. It’s a nice set, this would be a great gift for someone or to gift to yourself. There are 6 different scent combinations, which most of them smell pretty good. They are easy to apply just rub the stick against your skin and apply what you feel is good enough. They are all natural, I did not experience any skin irritation or any other side effects. I found the lavender zen and enchanted earth to be the more relaxing and milder scents. The mystic energy, wild citrus, and grounded thought, were much brighter and uplifting. The energizing breath was the most intense, it was good for me since I have sinus problems and it definitely helps with that. Overall this is a good quality product, but the price point for what you get is a bit much.
The packaging this balm comes in is pretty neat – the tube seems to be made of cardboard and it feels more earth-conscious than other products I’ve used. The scent on my stick was bright and crisp smelling – a scent that might help people focus more. The stick goes on smoothly and doesn’t leave really any greasy residue. I think this might be due to using the beeswax as a base instead of something more oily. Easy to apply and tuck back in your bag if you’re craving a pick me up. The scent isn’t super long lasting though, that’s my only complaint (and the high price, but as a solid stick I think the product should last you a while). Since this isn’t necessarily a perfume bar, it makes sense that it wouldn’t stick around as long.
These are luxurious balms, presented in a very upscale case. They’re an easy approach to aromatherapy and a nice gift. Swiping these on your temples will take off your makeup. If that’s an issue for you, use them on your wrists. It’s a refreshing ritual either way.
