Usually for my aromatherapy I have always used oils in a diffuser, so I thought this my be an interesting new way to try things out. It’s a nice set, this would be a great gift for someone or to gift to yourself. There are 6 different scent combinations, which most of them smell pretty good. They are easy to apply just rub the stick against your skin and apply what you feel is good enough. They are all natural, I did not experience any skin irritation or any other side effects. I found the lavender zen and enchanted earth to be the more relaxing and milder scents. The mystic energy, wild citrus, and grounded thought, were much brighter and uplifting. The energizing breath was the most intense, it was good for me since I have sinus problems and it definitely helps with that. Overall this is a good quality product, but the price point for what you get is a bit much.
The packaging this balm comes in is pretty neat – the tube seems to be made of cardboard and it feels more earth-conscious than other products I’ve used. The scent on my stick was bright and crisp smelling – a scent that might help people focus more. The stick goes on smoothly and doesn’t leave really any greasy residue. I think this might be due to using the beeswax as a base instead of something more oily. Easy to apply and tuck back in your bag if you’re craving a pick me up. The scent isn’t super long lasting though, that’s my only complaint (and the high price, but as a solid stick I think the product should last you a while). Since this isn’t necessarily a perfume bar, it makes sense that it wouldn’t stick around as long.
I received the lavender aromatherapy therapy balm by PURPLE CANYON. Oh wow!!! This smells so good. Lavender is one of my favorite smells and is just so relaxing. This little tube is about 3 1/2 inches long and can fit easily in your purse or pocket so you can take it with you. I love to put a little bit on my wrists and behind my ears when I’m getting ready for bed as it just helps to relax me. There is just something about the smell of lavender that is so calming. This balm glides on very easily, and does not feel greasy at all. I love that it is made with beeswax and shea butter, which is why it has this lovely soft creaminess to it. This is made from natural ingredients and never tested on animals, which is very important to me! If you are someone who suffers from some anxiety or has a hard time relaxing, give this balm a try. The essential oils really soothe me and helps me fall asleep easier.
I like some aromatherapy and essential oil products, but I don’t like rolling an oil product on to my skin most of the time, because I don’t always want my skin to be oily. These are nice because you can’t see them. I like to put it on my wrists when I go yo bed because I often sleep with my hands near my face and I like going to bed with a nice aromatherapy scent. The assortment is good. It is really expensive – expensive enough I might not buy again, but it is a great set in a nice carry pouch so I can see why someone would pay $90 for it.
I don’t know toomuch about essential oils and balms, but I do now about gifting so will limit by review to that. These come in a nice pouch, simple but looks good. The oils are nicely packaged inside and don’t move about. There’s also a pouch on the other side to put whatevers in. Has a nice look to it overall. The smell to my uneducated nose or wonderful and well, if these were to be used on me I’d be happy with the smells. I feel very happy gifting this. I have a friend who loves essential oils and is always sighing about how expensive they are and thus unattainable for her. A good deal. 🙂
